Anti-Graffiti Coatings

Graffiti can be a real problem, especially for bridges that cross creeks. Fortunately, Purple Painting has a solution that can help. We recently completed a project where we applied a clear, silicone-based coating called Siloxane to all of the exposed stone and concrete surfaces on a bridge. This coating is specially formulated to prevent graffiti, as it cannot be painted over or tagged. In the event that someone does try to deface the surface, it can be easily pressure washed off with no harm done to the underlying coating.While these coatings are still relatively new, they have shown great promise in preventing vandalism and protecting the surfaces they are applied to.
